Agenti Climatici will place a large linear wood in the very centre of the site, capable of both cooling down hot winds blowing from the south-west and cleaning the air of any toxic particles. Nature to the fore, of course, but so much more. Featuring a balanced combination of zero impact active and passive energy sources, Farini Station will accommodate, among other things, bars, restaurants, residential facilities, social housing and the Brera Academy, places for promoting culture and spaces allocated for new kinds of urban manufacturing. The currently fragmented greenery will be stitched back together and enhanced by new public and private services. The link between nature and infrastructure and the possibility of combining different usages will add something extra, an invaluable contribution to the evolution of a changing city.
